Gajapati Kulapati is an elephant and the creation of writer- illustrator Ashok Rajagopalan. This second book, based on the hilarious adventures of this lovable temple elephant from a small, simple village, is titled Kaabalooosh! The titlet alone is enough to tempt you to pick it up!. This read aloud book for children above the age of two, makes for interesting reading as it includes a lot of onomatopoeic and SFX words that will surely have your child roaring with laughter.

The words used in the story are very simple and basic and the sentences are short and to the point. The storyline and the art are so appropriate for a child who is just learning to understand words and pictures. The illustrations are colorful and very child-like in style and they would easily make you fall in love with the characters.

Kalabalooosh! is one amazingly drawn and written picture book and it’s sure to make a child feel good once you are done reading it.
